Marc Oria, PhD, originally from Barcelona, Spain, has swiftly become a leading figure in the U.S. coastal rowing scene and for World Rowing. With a background as a lightweight rower for the Spanish National Team, Marc transitioned into coaching, bringing a wealth of international experience. Since 2021, at the inaugural USRowing Coastal National Team, his athletes secured 18 medals at the World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals and World Coastal Championship. Marc is instrumental in developing the next generation of rowers and helping the development and education of the sport all around the world. His academic achievements, including a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, and his certification as a Reiki practitioner, reflect a holistic approach to coaching that emphasizes both physical and mental excellence.
